When we set out to create the new transpond v4 platform just over 12 months ago one of our primary goals was to build our new platform around an API, rather than building a platform and then exposing some of it via an API later on.
Obviously it's pretty handy doing things this way around, because it saves doubling up of work later on, but what it also means which was really important to myself and the team, was that we wanted to say to developers, you have the same power as us. By this i mean pretty much everything you see on the transpond control panel (and the agency admin control panel) is exposed via the API.
What that effectively means is that if you wanted to, you could actually create a entire email marketing platform yourself entirely using our API.
Pretty cool huh!
The only mistake we have made this time around, is we kinda forgot to nicely document the API as we were building it. Oops. So now we are working through literally hundreds of routes, testing and documenting each one.

We will be continually adding to the docs over the next few weeks, but there's already a lot of stuff to get your teeth into.
