Introducing Site Tracking
Gain even more insight into your campaign performance with our latest feature, which we like to call Site Tracking.
Simply copy and paste a single line of code onto your website, blog, ecommerce store, or pretty much anything else, and see instant, real-time stats about your website visitors including their actions on your site, campaigns they landed from and much more.
You can get started by simply logging in to your transpond Control Panel, and then clicking your name towards the top right, and then the "Site Tracking" option from the menu.
Here you will find a piece of code that you can pop on your website. You can put the same code on as many sites, sub sites, etc as you wish.
The moment a visitor visits your site for the first time, the page will change and you will be able to start drilling into your website statistics.
Furthermore, any time you send a campaign which links to one of your tracked sites, you will be able to see statistics about the visitors from your campaign, both in the Campaign Screen, and also in the Site Tracking area.
For the first time you will be able to see what happens once a subscriber leaves your newsletter and lands on your site.
- Did they add a product to their basket but didnt check out?
- Did they visit your contact page but didn't get in touch?
Now you can see exactly who did what, and contact them manually to find out what went right, or wrong.
To help you get to grips with site tracking, and to see what it looks like in action we've put together the following video walkthrough.
Future Updates
We are working hard to provide even more functionality for our new Site Tracking feature, and we will be rolling out more features over the coming days, including full ecommerce tracking so you can see exactly how much revenue your campaigns generate, along with automation which will enable you to trigger actions automatically when a visitor does something on your site. For example. if a visitor adds a product but doesn't check out, it might be awesome to send them an automatic email asking them what happened.
