You send the campaigns. But working out what actually worked, who's interested and what to send next? That usually means time in reports you just don't have.

So we're making it easier. The Transpond MCP is now in Beta. It connects Transpond to the AI assistant you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT. See what's working, find hot leads and draft campaigns, just by asking.

What is the Transpond MCP?

The Transpond MCP is a secure connection between your Transpond account and AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It's an open standard that lets AI assistants work with the tools you use every day. You don't need to know how it works behind the scenes. What matters is what it lets you do.

Once you're connected, you can ask about your marketing the way you'd ask a colleague. "How did last month's newsletter do?" "Who opened our last campaign but didn't click?" You get a clear answer from your own Transpond data, in plain language.

Then you can turn that answer into action. Describe the campaign, automation or segment you want, and it's drafted in Transpond, ready for you to review.

How it works

Setup takes a few clicks; you can find instructions for different AI assistants here.

  1. Connect. Add Transpond to your AI assistant and sign in with your usual Transpond login.
  2. Ask. Type what you need in plain English.
  3. Act. Get your answer, or ask for a draft. Anything your assistant builds comes back as a link, so you can review it in Transpond.

You stay in control. Campaigns and automations are never sent or switched on from the conversation. They're created as drafts, and you review, send and activate them in Transpond. Your AI assistant can only see and do what your Transpond login allows. It sends only one type of email directly: a one-to-one message to a single contact, and only when you ask it to.

What it can do for you

See what's working, without digging through reports

Ask how any campaign performed and get the answer directly from your Transpond data. Spot what your best campaigns have in common, so you can do more of it. Catch problems early, like a dip in opens, a jump in unsubscribes or a deliverability issue.

You choose the format, too - a detailed table for you, or a two-line update for your team.

Find hot leads and know who to reach out to next

You don't need lead scoring to know who's interested. Ask who your most engaged contacts are and get a list, with the reason for each.

With Transpond site tracking installed, you can see who's been looking at key pages like pricing, and whether they opened your emails. Then act on it in the same conversation. Draft a follow-up, build a segment or add contacts to an existing automation.

And if there's one person you want to reach right away, ask your assistant to send them a one-to-one email for you.

Get a draft to review, just by describing it

Know you should send something regularly, but can't face the blank page? Describe what you need and get a draft to work from.

  • Turn one blog post into a tailored campaign for each audience.
  • Describe a customer journey and get an automation built, without working out the logic yourself.
  • Draft social posts for your connected accounts. Everything lands in Transpond as a draft, ready for you to check, tweak and send.

New to Transpond?

If you're choosing a marketing platform, this can help you get going faster. You don't need to learn every menu before your first campaign. Ask for what you need, see it drafted in Transpond, then make it your own.

Example use cases for Transpond's MCP

Not sure where to start? Here are a few questions to ask once you're connected.

When you want to...

Try asking

Check how a campaign did

"Find my most recent campaign, summarize opens, clicks and bounces, and tell me which link performed best."

Repeat what worked

"What do my best-performing campaigns this year have in common?"

Update your team

"Give me a two-line summary of how our email marketing did last month that I can share with the team."

Find people to follow up

"Who opened our last email campaign but didn't click the link in it?"

Spot hot leads

"Find my most engaged contacts in Transpond."

Follow up with one person

"Find my most engaged contact this week and send them a short email asking if they'd like to book a call."

Turn content into campaigns

"Take our latest blog post and write an email campaign for each segment in a way that is relevant to them."

Welcome new subscribers

"When a contact joins my Newsletter group, create an automation that sends a welcome email, waits three days, then sends a getting-started tip."

Top tip: tell your assistant where to look. If you've connected more than one tool to your AI assistant, name Transpond in your question. That way, it knows to go straight to your marketing data.

So instead of "How did last month's newsletter do?", try "Check Transpond and tell me how last month's newsletter did."

Try the Transpond MCP (Beta)

The Transpond MCP is in Beta and available on Growth plans and above. You'll need an AI assistant that supports custom MCP connections, such as Claude or ChatGPT.

Any Transpond user can connect it. What your assistant can do depends on your user permissions.
